Anyone got there teeth into the Young & Dangerous series of movies back in the mid 90's.....

If you like these Pete, you might also want to try the two 'Once Upon A Time In Triad Society' films from '96 - very similar vibe. Both star Francis Ng with Chan Wai Man in the 1st film & Roy Cheung (who is watchable in just about anything IMO) in the second.

Rock N' Roll Cop with Anthony Wong & Yu Rong Guang is a good one with an exciting chase across the Chinese/HK border at the end.
As we're on the topic of rare moderns - does anyone happen to have a copy of the Hong Kong Laser disc version with the head-shot at the end? (which is cut from other DVD releases). Please PM me if you do, I'm quite desperate for a copy of this version!

This may be the one not sure.

Cheers mate. Seems the link has expired. I don't actually own a LD player but looking at the huge number of rare HK LDs on eBay at the moment (and at bargain prices) it might not be a bad idea for me to invest in one...albeit 20 years too late!

Good film IMO! I wouldn\'t call it rare either but as Pete said, it\'s pretty tricky to find. I missed out on an original VHS last year and have been kicking myself ever since. I\'ve only got a DVDR copy, average quality, I\'d love to see a clean, remastered copy of this one day.

Funnily enough this is in my watch pile at the moment (decent LD rip). Will share my thoughts once I get round to it, although I'm sure one of the new wave dons here will be able to help before then.

Its definitely a RARE!!! IMO...I have the original tape I bought 7 years ago....
Got round to watching this properly today and I'd definitely recommend it. Sorely under-used Eliza Yue steals every scene that she's in during the first quarter of the film, including a great scene aboard a ship which Rdenn posted above.
Other standouts scenes are Chen Kuan Tai going ballistic with an axe while fending off some thugs in an underground car park, and also the final shoot out which has some interesting locations such as a beach filled with kids and a pigeon coup.
