I just checked out this movie for the first time today on the new Joy sales DVD and really enjoyed it.

A simple story about an ex-triad that gets released from jail to find his hometown being taken over by ruthless thugs and decides to make a stand against them.
Plenty of hard hitting fight scenes, slicing and dicing with cleavers, batterings with bats and plenty of painful looking falls and stunts.

If you like movies like Godfather's Daughters Mafia Blues then this one should be right up your alley!

The DVD is 16:9 so maybe that is why the black bars aren't visible on the screen captures I took.

Whirlwind - For £2.69 mate you really can't go wrong!

I haven't seen it yet, but want to...what a cast from Ben Lam to Sun Chien of the Venoms playing the lead villain in one of his final HK films.
