Sword with the Windbell

Postby Monkeygift » Mon Jan 06, 2014 6:55 am

Anyone seen that classic Taiwanese film?
I've found a widescreen version floating around but seems cut.
Two sources indicates 72 minutes?

I have a Korean VHS of it that I'm transferring right now, I've
noticed a few snippets here and there extra.

Any other available versions on the market?

I saw it one or two years ago and I remember that I was a little bit disappointed by the plot, but perhaps it's because the movie was cut ?...I don't remember the running time of the dvd I have. And the picture was only fair/good...

We've had the letterbox version of Sword and the Wind-bell for several years. Will have to check the running time and see if its parallel with yours.

Thanks for the info so far!

My Korean tape clocks at 81 minutes, which is already almost 10 minutes more than the other version I found.

Also, the picture quality is quite impressive.

Your print seems better than mine...

Yes, I'd like to know too if you're going to make a project with this movie...

Cool!

Then mine could be cut by a minute or it's just the logos & credits that add up...
