No disrespect to anyone here but 'slasher' is an extremely common term and sub-genre of horror. In terms of Hollywood films, think Halloween & Friday the 13th and you'll get the picture.

Odious Trident, while some of these films below aren't strictly slashers, they do contain slasher elements or moments of visceral Cat III gore & set-pieces that I think you may be looking for. Hope this helps!

Her Vengeance
Saviour
Intruder
Dr Lamb
Run & Kill
Pituitary Hunter
Bunman: The Untold Story
Daughter Of Darkness 1 & 2
Fatal Vacation
Lady Punisher
The Rapist
Don't Play With Fire
A Day Without Policemen
Suburb Murder
Hong Kong Butcher
We're Going To Eat You
Ebola Syndrome

Although not a 'slasher', I think Cops And Robbers from 1979 deserves a mention here for having one of the most twisted and evil villains in HK cinema from this era. The last 15-20 mins or so are pretty intense and fairly bloody.
Definitely worth a look if you like films with a similar flavour like The Saviour or Coolie Killer.

IIRC, Patrick Tam's Love Massacre (1981) was something of a 'slasher' flick.

Again, using the term 'slasher' loosely, 'Passionate Killing In The Dream' with Gordon Liu & Michiko Nishiwaki has it's central plot around the serial killer theme.
