Anyone seen this film?

Postby ironfistedmonk2003 » Fri Mar 14, 2008 10:20 pm

I've got the film in the link below on the way to me and I have never heard any mention of it on any Kung Fu forum in my short years as a collector. Now that may be cos it's a big pile of dog doings but I think it's directed by Hua Shan who helmed a few interesting films over at Shaw Bros such as Soul of the Sword and Usurpers of Emperors Power. If it's half as good as those 2 I won't regret buying it, anyone know anything about it? It looks a bit Mainland to me

Rdenn does put up some amazing shapes, the guy has tons of TV series with some serious action going on, I'll have a look see if I can find it.
it looked like an american production.
Maybe so but the fact that it's directed by Filipino director Teddy Page (aka Teddy Chiu) points in a very different direction than the US, xD. It's from the Philippines and stars many familiar Filipino actors like James Gaines, Nick Nicholson and Mike Monty. Quite a few HK actors and actresses came to the Philippines and did films there. Philipp Ko sat up business there with Yukari Oshima and some of the Cynthia Khan films exist in both Filipino and HK edits.
