Devil Spider aka Treasure Castle aka Hurricane Sword

Postby Markgway » Thu May 22, 2014 4:15 pm

Hey,

Having a little trouble with some of the cast names for this HK-South Korean co-production.

Perhaps you guys can help...?

From right to left:

Liu Yu-Kun
Chang Cheng-Kuo
Lu Yung-Chih
Chen Yu-Lung
Su Chin-Lung (Taiwanese actor)
Li ?? Ying
Leung Hung (Hong Kong actor)

Correct me if anything is wrong.

These names could be AKAs for Korean actors.

The HKMDB lists:
Lim Hae-Rim
Kwon Il-Soo
Kim Ki-Bum
Jeon Shook
...among the cast.

Thanks.

I think Chang Cheng-Kuo might be Jang Jeong-Kuk:

This lobby card might help you.
Has all the actors names in Chinese.

Thanks for the lobby.

The card contains the first nine actor names:

Chiang Ming
Sun Chia-Lin
Tsai Hui-Hua
Dok Go-Sung (Korean)
Lam Ching-Ying
Li Ping (No idea who this is...?)
Billy Chan Wui-Ngai
Liu Kang
Yung Yung.

The co-stars (shown in my cap) aren\'t mentioned on the card.

Is there anyone here who reads Chinese?

Any Korean martial arts buffs?

Just watched the film and Lam Ching-Ying isn\'t even in it!?!

Some of these credits must be bogus!

Come to think of it...

I don\'t think I saw Billy Chan or Liu Kang either...

Weird.

Does anyone have the Korean version or a version with different opening credits?

Well if this film has Korean stars it may be a joint venture with Taiwan. Good thread by all means.

The film was co-produced by Hong Kong company Antar.

Some of the actors are Taiwanese though.
