Greetings, Everyone!

Postby KungFuWizard » Sun Jan 08, 2012 12:27 am

Hello there.

New the forum and I'm glad to see it has plenty of active members. Decided to register and even purchased a couple titles from the catalogue. Anyway, hope to speak with you all again soon.

Oh, before I forget here's my website:

I review martial arts films regularly so do give it a read.

Thank you,
Steve

Thank you for all the warm welcomes. I'm very excited at the prospect of being able to improve my knowledge and also having a resource for films in which I can review on my blog. Be sure to check back on the site regularly as I have many reviews being posted over the coming weeks.

A warm welcome to you KungFuWizard.

Am I right in assuming that by the name of your blog you're a Ringo Lam fan?

Yes, I am. Very much so. City on Fire is one of my all time favorite films ever and I wanted a name that reflected that content of the blog and I was watching Hitman In The Hand Of Buddha and it was the scene with the chopsticks that inspired me so I melded the two and got the name.

I'm yet to see City On Fire......Never seen it and I've owned the movie for 15 years. I really should be ashamed of myself lol ...I'm much too rapped up in Old School Kung Fu.

Nice one KungFuWizard.

@ Pete Jr. - City On Fire is a must-see my friend but far more ferocious and dark is Ringo Lam's School On Fire. That's a definite 10/10 film IMO.

It's definitely recommended. I've been watching a lot of new lately especially from the 80's movies and have been filling out my Sammo Hung collection. Once I've got the 80's covered I'll be going back to the 70's and getting ones which I've missed.
