I get alot of my knowledge from the internet and various friends and contacts regarding personalities and studios. My knowledge of specific films comes from watching them.

I cant really estimate how many films I have seen, but it is somewhere in triple figures, if that helps, LOL!

I wasnt serious about being a self professed expert, just to alot of my non kung fu friends I appear to be a fountain of (fairly useless) knowledge.

Its all relative, and compared to some of the luminaries here I am no expert at all. I am a major fan, but not obsessed!

fairly useless... lol

I personally think I'm just a fan, Although I've watched over 1000+, I think thats probably because of the obvious and also due to the fact that I watched a few movies through my mothers eyes before birth, Although I didn't understand what was happening in the film... well most of the time anyway.

I mean the knowledge is wasted on non kung fu fans, as they are an inferior breed ;) Obviously kung fu enlightenment is the highest accolade anyone could hope to acheive in this life!

I'm a staunch collector which is more than a fan for sure. I love kungs to death and cant get enough.

I know enough to get me by self taught.
