Yes Polly,
those two are outstanding 80\'s classics!

I watched
Danger has two faces recently with Beardy that was alot of fun lol

It would certainly be sad
if and when FLK shuts down
I think new fans help revive the genre and keep things going.

Well I hope it lasts as long as it can

Thanks Venomsfreak
Shanghai13 looks like a
real gem I will add that to my wish list.

Just you suggesting that film to me makes me believe that FLK is still an exciting place to discover new things and learn from members ;)

I\'ve just watched
The Kid from Kwangtung for the first time tonight
it\'s easy to see why it\'s held in high regards fantastic fights and training sequences |:o

To be honest I\'ve not seen many Wong Yu films except

The man from Hong Kong
Island on Fire
And
Executioners from Shaolin

I May have seen more but not realised?

Does anybody have any favourite Wong Yu films to recommend ?

I saw a trailer on the vcd for The Young Vagabond which looks quality I\'m surprised I haven\'t heard much about it because it looks awesome!

If you haven\'t watched the following as yet, you must do it !!!

He has nothing but kung fu
The proud youth (superb)
Dirty Ho
The kid with a tattoo
Lion vs lion
The young avenger
Tales of a eunuch
Crazy shaolin disciples

I enjoyed all of them and he was very good in a main role in The proud youth.

Hi FLK, [imgUploaded size=900|675]20140630_22390423.jpg[/imgUploaded]

I\'ve been a bit preoccupied recently , however I have had the chance to watch a few flims.

Started off seeing a few ensemble films

Shanghai13 aka
All The Professionals after Venomsfreak\'s recommendation

Nice to see a young Andy Lau
Bust some shapes along with Beardy, David Chiang ,
Ti Lung and CKC use the leopard fist.

Saw
Mercenaries From Hong Kong with Ti Lung , Wong Yu and Chan Wai Man

And another all-star film Marco Polo with Fu Sheng,
Beardy, Santa, CKC and
Wang Lung Wai

Watched The Kung-fu Kid with Chan wai man and Nora Miao
Some nice fights in that film |:o

Also saw the last installment of the
Brave Archer series too...

Finally managed to watch
My Rebellious Son with
Fu Sheng which was absolutely wicked throughly entertained

Hi guys been quite some time!! Hope everyone is well. Up until about 3 months ago I hadn\'t watch a kung fu film in 2 years!!! Dynamite trio and heroes two have brought me back!! Good to see the old faces still about, I think a few years back we were experiencing a second golden age, new releases to look forward to every month, flk kicking out about every title worth watching in kung fu history and Toby Russell keeping the uk scene alive. I look at my collection now am amazed to have releases of such high loving quality put out by many of the folk who make up the forum. I\'ve been checking in from time to time but career and family have had to take priority over the last few years.
On another note Aka tek, I believe I owe you some discs send me a pm and I\'ll sort you out bro.
