No body who seems to genuinely love the genre. Whenever I've met anybody who claims to be they either have very poor knowledge or are very reluctant to have a conversation about it.

There's a local cinema that's been looking for volunteers in various roles and thought I'd become a programmer and organize a night devoted to old school classic martial arts films. I'm curious if there are any serious fans living in my area.
I find this surprising ironic how TORRENT JUNKIES can get angry with Stiller for downloading something they made FREELY available...the underlining effects seems rather obnoxious to me...only because the TORRENT JUNKIES are already causing damage to COMPANIES such as Celestial's who are Legit in every sense of the word and I can visit these TORRENTS SITE and download almost every LEGITIMATE TITLE for Celestial's (And I must stress I hate Torrents hence I would never download Celestial's movies from them)...I must also state I support Celestial releases cos I bought all mines with hard cash....I only have one problem with Celeastial's IMO they should have the covered English Dubbed situation from inception and perhaps made a lot more money.

But is it okay to bootleg them instead?

These are all the same versions as sold by Celestial/IVL, none are English dubbed and these are just a tiny portion of the many Shaw Brothers for sale in FLK's catalogue. Now, I'm honestly not attempting to cause any kind of drama/controversy/arguments, etc. I just want to ask is there a difference between:

A: downloading a Shaw Brothers film by torrent where no money is paid to Celestial/IVL?

B: buying a Shaw Brothers bootleg from FLK (or any other merchants like fareastflix, etc) where no money is paid to Celestial/IVL?

I just don't see how torrenting is any better or worse than buying a bootleg.
Where exactly are you from then KungFuWizard....what town and country?
North-East England. Newcastle to be exact. It goes without saying there is an audience for that kind of thing in London but up here it's a little harder to tell.

I live near Durham. The guy who runs the Bruce Lee Clones website lives in Teeside iirc. Another guy I did a trade with a year or so back on kung fu cinema lived near Redcar. There are a handful of us knocking around this neck of the woods!
