Had a little accident

Postby Fabhui » Mon Dec 14, 2009 11:36 am

Sorry I haven't been around for a while but around 2 weeks ago I had an accident at work and got coolant suds in my eyes whilst a pump was being fitted to a drum of coolant.I've had treatment but I am still suffering with ulcers on both eyes.Obviously I won't be online until they are healed as my vision at the moment is blurry at best and I am having to dictate this message to one of my mates who is typing it up for me here.
I am going to get my mate to read me all the latest happenings here and I hope to be back on here very soon! :-)

This is fabian's friend matt posting on his behalf.Fabian is doing a lot better and is on a course of treatment for his eyes which at the moment look a red, slightly lumpy watery mess but they do look better to what they did.If you have anything you need to contact him about just post it here and I will pass it on to him as he has given me permission to use his account here on his behalf to keep him up to speed on what is happening.

Hwang Jang Lee - He was wearing safety goggles when the accident happened. He told me it is the policy of the place he works for that safety equipment is issued to all employees and that it has to be used. The safety goggles they use are more like protective spectacles from what I understand and not like those that seal to your face like we used to wear in science at school so when he got splashed in the face it went over the top and underneath the protective goggles.

Thank you very much for all the well wishes,I will be seeing fabian later today so I will pass them on to him.

ironfistedmonk2003 - I do like kung fu movies and among my favourites are the movies of samo hung.I don't have much of a collection myself as I usually borrow them from fabian as his dvd collcection is rather extraordinary to put it mildly.
From my own collection my favourite movie would be either 'the victim' or 'fist of fury'.

Matt
