Don't forget he'll be showing up in the next Pirates of the Carribean sequel which I think will do wonders for his career as they'll see him as more than just an action star.

I didn't know he was going to be in Pirates of the Carribean! Thats something to look forward to, I enjoyed the first film in a cheesy but good kinda way. Any idea what kind of role he will be playing?

He's going to be in POTC 3 which is being filmed back to back with POTC 2. He's playing Captain Sao Ping, I don't know if he's a pirate though.

Arguably the best actor in HK, on par or better than Andy Lau.

Yes he is in POTC 3 and from what I've read he is a "evil" pirate. He just finished shooting a zombie western in Mexico though the title eludes me at the moment.

I regard him as one of HK's finest "actors". He can do it all, and the pictures alone show his range.

I'm curious.....has he ever played a villain? If so, I guess he's done it all for sure.[/Quote]

I recall might still have on vhs a film were he was a hired killer, have to dig it out he was gassing folk stabbing early chow.
