The BBFC insisted on this cut due to their guidelines on animal cruelty. The scene is included in the US release and other prints. Snake In The Monkey's Shadow was cut by the BBFC for the same reason.

Kung Fu Theater released a DVD of the Deadly Strike with the Nunchaku scene in it.
