Viper - Widescreen Glass...

Postby pollypolly » Sun Oct 18, 2009 1:46 pm

Just thought I'd revive this thread. :)
Here's a nice widescreen print of 'A Viper' starring Bobby Kim & Hwang Jang Lee (though only in a brief cameo in the fight aboard the train). This print definitely deserves some fan subs, shame we don't have any Korean speaking fans here. :(

With my Chinatown 2 (Cha-inata-un(China town) 2) I got it under American Chinatown (dubbed) and found it the movie alright.

I uploaded that print of VIPER a long time ago on a torrent site. Think it was about 1 year ago. The only problem is that at the time I forgot to fix the aspect ratio, as you can notice the faces are vertically stretched.

Would love to see more films file this one in widescreen and great technicolor :)

It exist in Korean VHS but it's quite hard to find, even if it's only 1993. I wonder if the cut is different?

Well, there are 2 run time mentioned on KMDB on the main page they say 98 MINUTES but if you check the VHS info it says 112 MINUTES.

Those running times makes me think what was cut from the version I have.
