Brave Archer Series & Life Gamble

Postby KeungKau » Sat Jan 18, 2014 5:52 am

Is the Brave Archer series any good?
I was thinking is it worth it to get the set?
I've read various reviews on the net but value the opinions of people on FLK as they know what they are talking about....

Also the same for Life Gamble

The Majority of Fu Sheng & Lo Meng
films I've watched were enjoyable

Thanks

Keung

Yes I liked them all. My favorite of the Brave Archer and His Mate. it is the last in the series. It star Phillip Kwok playing the roll of Fu Sheng. Life Gamble is good IMO. It also has Phillip Kwok in it.

Thanks guys ,

Just watched the 1st Brave Archer film I must admit the storyline was a bit convoluted and hard to follow,

the big fake snake that
bites Fu Sheng was pretty tacky ;*O

but on the plus side
Fu Sheng's 18 Palms was awesome |:o

So three more films in the series to watch....

I saw a few other Fu Sheng films on sale recently are they worth watching??

Friends ,

Heaven & Hell
(which I have heard is VERY weird and abstract)

and also Heroes Shed No Tears

Friends is an early movie with David Chiang and Fu Sheng, more a drama, but I enjoyed it.

I didn't watch the two other ones as yet, but with Fu Sehgn and Derek Yee in Heroes shed no tears, you mustn't be mistaken if you watch this one. Plus, I saw the trailer and it seems to be a very good one.

I'm not too keen on the Brave Archer series but Brave Archer & His Mate is a good one.

Life Gamble on the other hand is well worth owning in my opinion.

For me The Brave Archer series decreased in quality with each episode - I think it took them 3 years to release the third part. The original I did like, however, and 2 and 3 are decent continuations, but I didn't rate the fourth and last - Brave Archer and His Mate - at all, so it's interesting to see that one singled out for praise here.

Life Gamble is fine and Heroes Shed No Tears good. Friends - I'm not sure if I've seen and Heaven and Hell is a curio.

I agree 100% with your comments. I found part 4 out of context with 1,2,3.

I just watched The Brave Archer 2
I really enjoyed this film it had had a cohesive storyline and the pace was quicker than the 1st film

even the 1960's style StarTrek
special effects were okay!

The fights were also decent in this one Danny Lee was partciularly slimy in this one and the finale with Fu Sheng & Lo Meng
was pretty good....

Thanks for your comments
