The Return of the 5 Deadly Venoms - Dragon Dynasty

Now, I am sure most fans were pleased as punch, when Dragon Dynasty decided to go with the international renaming of the film, The Five Venoms, and used the fan preferred, The 5 Deadly Venoms.

DD is doing it again, but this time I would of MUCH preferred they had used the original name, Crippled Avengers (which just sounds more cooler) than the renaming version of The Return of the 5 Deadly Venoms. The misleading title in itself gives the impression that this is a sequel to the original movie The Five Venoms/The 5 Deadly Venoms, which in reality, it is NOT a sequel but just happens to share the same cast.

What do you guys think, no big deal? Or would you of also preferred the name Crippled Avengers?

This movie is up for pre-order and releases September 14, 2010 and it DOES include the original English dub!! I WILL be buying this one!

I think that the return title is relevent to a US audience as this is what people who originally saw the movie will remeber it by. So i guess there reaching out to as wide an audience as possible, the hardcore obviously knowng the movie already under both titles and say someone seeing it in the video age and not remembering or having any clue that Crippled avengers is the same flick.

I just picked up a copy of this today at a local Walmart, priced at $13.00. I wasn't really planning on buying it just yet, but once I saw it on the shelf, I couldn't resist. It was sitting right next to the new release of Raging Phoenix

RTF600, sorry to say, they did not use Crippled Avengers for the title screen on the film, look for yourself at the screencap I just took...

No cuts that I noticed. It's actually longer than the first remastered release. The reason for this is that it plays at the proper running speed. Having a different title card doesn't bother me. It's not like it affects the actual movie. The only problem with this release is that it has dubtitles;*O

I hardly ever double dip with purchases but I think I'll have to go for this one. I even quite like the cover art for a change.
