I'm interested in doing both, but the place I was planning on training at costs 170 a month to train unlimited for both. Is this too much? How much do you pay for either brazilian jiu jitsu or muay thai?

Thing is depending how serious you are about bjj if your looking at competing i would go and learn some wrestling as 9 times out of 10 guys with no base are so much easier to control on the floor.

Find a good judo place. They're really cheap & prevalent. There's a place near me that trained an olympic champion & charges just £2.00 an hour. Now that's value.
