Yeah, they were pure class - and no CGI in sight!

There's meant to be a new Godzilla movie coming out soon, I don't know if this is an 'official' trailer for it...

...I don't know how I feel about another CGI Godzilla after the awful Hollywood version!

Just picking up this old thread as I too am a huge fan of kaiju, especially Godzilla flicks! My top ten Godzilla flicks are: 1. Mothra Vs Godzilla (1964) 2. Godzilla (1954) 3. Godzilla Vs Biollante (1989) 4. Ghidorah The Three Headed Monster (1964) 5. Godzilla Vs Destroyah (1995) 6. Invasion of Astr...

I think he was also involved in \'Blade Runner\', I don\'t know in what capacity, but if you watch the very start of the film when the Ladd Company logo appears (the big tree) underneath it reads \'in association with Sir Run Run Shaw\'. There is a strong Chinese element to the film though so it isn...

Don\'t know if you would class these as \'traditional\' kung fu or not... I think \'Once Upon a Time in China 2\' is slightly better than the first one - only very slightly though, the finale just edges it for me! Again I think \'Project A Part 2\' is slightly better - it doesn\'t have as much fight...
apparenlty the director didnt even know jackie did the extra fights.
That\'s right, I think when Jackie made the movie he wasn\'t allowed any creative input at all, he also wasn\'t happy with the excessive nudity and profanity. When he took the movie back to Hong Kong he was con...

No offence Pete - it\'s interesting to hear the opinions of it from an actual martial arts practitioner. As a non-practitioner myself I\'m only looking at it from a visual perspective and for entertainment purposes. The origin of capoeira is dance so I have no doubt that in a real life fight it woul...

There is an additional fight sequence with Wallace where he beats up a couple of guys on a dockside, and Jackie re-shot most of the end fight to make it faster and longer - more like the usual Hong Kong choreography fans expect, but the outcome of the fight is the same. Jackie added another minor st...
