Yeah, a very long wait. But this show will be worth it! If they keep true to the comic, we can look forward to some great twists coming up, and the appearance of one the most evil villains ever imagined. Makes the zombies look like nice people by comparison.

This series hasn't been cut short - only six episodes were commissioned to begin with. Now that it's been a big success, a full 13 episode series has been commissioned for next year, beginning in October 2011.

Yes, this is indeed true. Frank Darabont plans to write/oversee the whole of the next season by himself, with a few freelance writers as and when needed.

There's a free to use program called MalwareBytes that is very reliable for scanning and removing malware from a PC. Many internet veterans trust it far more than paid-for scanners such as Norton, AVG, etc. I use it once a week to scan my machine, and it can be updated to detect the latest viruses ...
