The stuff in the 21st century is generally very slick and almost clinical in it's execution. The late 80s/early 90s new wave offerings were also largely about style but with an additional energy and rawness that is lacking in 21st century pictures.

I'm not sure how genuine that is. I have a high quality English language trailer for this as well, and I'm pretty sure it's identical in length and content. These guys have just slapped their watermark on it.

By the way, I managed to ID this film. I just realised I have the Japan VHS.
It's Dirty Girl aka Angel Girls from 1988 starring Derek Yee and Eliza Yue. :)
